Bridges MAYO serves young musicians in the Bloomington area, ages 8-18 through its two youth orchestras, chamber music opportunities, jazz workshops, Zimbabwean Marimba, and music composition sessions. It hosts free family friendly events throughout the year that span visiting chamber ensembles, creative music making days, and more.

Friday, June 20 at 4PM at the Monroe County Public Library Auditorium: Creative Music Making World Premiere program
Come hear 12 original World Premiere works at this free, family friendly program. Each young musician on the program has created either a jazz tune or original chamber ensemble piece over the course of 4 days!
Friday, June 27 at 4PM: Chamber Music Concert
Listen to 6 different youth chamber ensembles, ages 9-18. Music will range from Dvorak and Haydn, to our very own Bloomington composer- Dena El Saffar.
